Bob must've loved Tunnelvision -- he always plays that clip, even tho' it's a movie very few people saw.

VHM and proxy-of-GazWOS: the Seasons Four, losing Bob Gaudio's virginity yet again.

were you not here recently when we discussed that?  It was supposedly inspired by the Springsteen Time-and-Newsweek-covers hypefest. Frey's reaction was "hey, we've been around as long as he has -- where's our cover?"

there's something called the Giants County Fair in the parking lot next to AT&T Park. They have some rides, corn dog booth, Giants booth, and a performing stage for whatever acts will be there-- it's trying to by a like a real county fair, but smaller and no animals or arts and crafts.  Yesterday was Filipino Appreciation Day there, and there was a group of young Filipinos on that stage doing some hip hop moves to this song.  I was like ... WTF?

i don't think it was sponsored by anyone, it was pretty empty.   :-\

TANC..(?): At the Alameda County Fair last weekned, there was a Heart cover band performing in a pavilion in front of the Race Track.  Three piece band (the guitarist did a commendable job on Magic Man) and two young women singers, signing their, uh, hearts out .. and  slightly off-key..  :)

"Andy's only seen the sights
A gay can see from Jackson Heights"

the original non-Manhattan "gay neighborhood" (going back to the '70s), along with Brooklyn Heights.
