it was George McCrae -- love that song.  BOS

Was the Doobies song from the same year?  whoa, dude, blow my mind!

and wasn't Andy Kim's called Rock Me Gently?

You're right about the Kim.  The Doobs' "Take Me in Your Arms" was '75 or '76, I think.  And - pedant alert - the McCrae is "Rock YOUR Baby."  :)

Thanks -- that's why I was confused (and proud to be pedantic)

oh yeah, but of course.  I thought my inflected typing could be heard karaoke-style and you would automatically know I was grooving out the Geo McCrae.

Clap for the Wolfman - Guess Who
Can't Get Enough - Bad Company
Rock Your Baby - George McCrae
Help Me - Joni Mitchell
Bungle in the Jungle - Tull
Tin Man- America
Already Gone - Eagles
Fox on the Run - Sweet
Whatever Gets You Through- John Lennon
Lady - Styx

Nothing earth-shattering there, but I'd've preferred to have been listening to this set than '87

content wise, me, too.  It was easy to go to LA when KFOG was trotting out another DM repeat that seemed underwhelming, but we have to stick w AL pretty much no matter what year she does -- at least during this honeymoon period.

I would have esp dug the 3-4-5 hitters:

Rock Your Baby - George McCrae
Help Me - Joni Mitchell
Bungle in the Jungle - Tull
