Wow, hadn't thought about Wink in close to 40 yrs.  Wonder if it is still available somewhere & if it tastes anything like what I think I remember.

does Canada Dry still exist?  Squirt (made by Coke) is probably the closest equivalent on the market.

Canada Dry does still exist, but all I usually see at Safeway is Ginger Ale, Club Soda & Tonic.  However the other day my wife came home with a 12-pack of "New! Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale (with anti-oxidants & gingko biloba)".  It tasted a little weird, but the taste grew on me & I'll probably get some more.

I was always a big Collins Mixer guy (without alcohol), and that stuff is not unlike Wink/Squirt.

As a kid in NY, the three big soda companies (outside of the Coke/Pepsi/7-Up axis) were Canada Dry, Hoffman, and White Rock; they all made dozens of flavors. I guess Canada Dry is the only one left.  Schweppes came along in the meantime -- they used to make a raspberry ginger ale that was quite delightful/

And Cadbury/Schweppes now owns Canada Dry (it's part of their 7Up/Dr Pepper business unit), so there you go. I think mostly they only make mixers now--tonic, quinine, collins mix--in addition to their ginger ale

Growing up, we had stuff called 50/50 that seems like this.

BTW, the connection problem was on my end - I was having general Internet problems.  Sigh.
