Why can't we get the Sound to do, say, 1986 when KFOG has a '73 set on and vice versa? This be killin' me.

I have popped back over after the ELP on KFOG.  Now it's "Beach Baby".

i think they did Little Feat Atlanta before this... which sounded a lot like New Delhi Freight Train.

TANC: a friend of mine is in Delhi right now.  :)

EC covering Marley to start.

And now it's Skynyrd covering J.J.Cale.

Must have missed some good stuf between Clapton & Skynyrd, 'cuz nothing is in the Recently Played page in between, meaning it was stuff that Larry brought from home.  And there had to be at least one other song in there besides First Class.

ETA: ahhh, I see Tinka was paying attention, and I was right.  Damn sorry to have missed that!

Dave's playing Bell Bottom Blues right now, and it only gets better from here. I'm sticking with the original today.

Didn't hear it but I guess Larry slipped in Carly and JT's take on Mockingbird, which also didn't turn up on their "recently played" gizmo.

I can understand them not having that or the First Class tune in their DB, but Little Feat? They really should have that in rotation, at least occasionally.

I loved both of them at that time, Carly especially, and I thought "Mockingbird" was just horrid then and time hasn't mellowed my opinion.

5/14 - 1974
I Shot the Sherrif - Eric Clapton
Oh, Atlanta - Little Feat
Beach Baby - The First Class
Call Me the Breeze - Lynyrd Skynyrd
The Bitch is Back - Elton John
Mockingbird - Carly Simon/James Taylor
Boogie On Reggae Woman - Stevie Wonder
The Loco-Motion - Grand Funk
Heroes Are Hard to Find - Fleetwood Mac
Let It Ride - BTO

nice set,  the F-Mac is seldom heard. nice horns on that one.

Beeyotch Baby and The Beeyotch Is Back are fun.

Could have done without Mockinbeeyotch.
