a famously "dirty" movie based on a famously "dirty" book by Terry Southern , who also wrote Dr Strangelove, The Magic Christian, and co-wrote Easy Rider. Not a bad resume.

oh yes!  BOS for a great theme of a great show.  (I've been watching H50 eps lately.  very fun stuff!)
