But right before the set they played "Hey Bulldog", which made my morning.
-
all I ever wanted was something other than this Santana tune as TOTHK.
-
You gotta be cruel to Katrinas: a moratorium on Nick Lowe's biggest hit, please.
And ditto anything from Breakfast in America. Sheesh, Bob, yesterday's set was so wonderful, can't we be creative 2 days in a row?
-
Mr Buffett don' wanna land on no Ayatollah. Now *there's* a visual.
-
BOS VH, best of a bad lot so far.
-
Hell's broke loose in Georgia! This better be the "son of a bitch" version.
-
yeesh, Foreigner playing games with their, er, heads.
-
after predicting this the last 3 or 4 '79 sets, I refrained from mentioning Sniff'n'the Tears this time. So of course, here they are, in that extended remix Bob always plays (which I believe someone mentioned the Sound played last week -- guess the 2 stations share the same music library! No wonder Bonneville makes money)
-
BOS2 Neil, the fuzzy, down-n'-dirty "Black" version of "Hey Hey My My".
Johnny Rotten! Rotten Johnny!
-
"Superman" saves the day: the Kinks' "Superman", that is. BOS3.
-
Santana - All I Ever Wanted
Nick Lowe - Cruel to Be Kind
Supertramp - Goodbye Stranger
Jimmy Buffett - Volcano
Van Halen - Beautiful Girls
Charlie Daniels Band - The Devil Went Down to Georgia
Foreigner - Head Games
Sniff 'n the Tears - Driver's Seat
Neil Young - Hey Hey My My (Into the Black)
Kinks - Superman
Well, at least we get '67 tomorrow!
