According to their recently played feature, the 4 tunes before the Firm were

Heavy - Collective Soul  wiki  Buy Now iTunes
Road To Nowhere - Talking Heads
Look At Little Sister - Stevie Ray Vaughan
This Time - INXS

(but sometimes that thing misses a song or two)

I was wondering after I copied that if Corrective Soles were around in 1985, but the time stamp was 10:02, and I wasn't familiar with the title.

yes, agree.

Howard Johnson's stuff -- or the hits that I've heard -- always seem so bright and uplifting, like it could be the soundtrack to a youth church.

Larry Mormon Morgan says "U2 --  celebrating their big sellout ... er, that just sounds mean.  No, they sold out all their tickets to the Pasadena Rose Bowl yesterday..."  tee hee!

another BOS to U2.
