NTM and BOSFRA: SSJ&tAJs, "Ride the Night Away". Don't remember this LP at all, but then I left NY for SF in June of '91.

BOS2 REM -- I've surely heard "Losing My Religion" hundreds of times, but it's still one of the great singles of the decade.

Nirvana Smells Like Teen Spirit
Joe Walsh Ordinary Average Guy
Marc Cohn Silver Thunderbird
School Of Fish 3 Strange Days
Tom Petty Into The Great Wide Open
Violent Femmes American Music
Jesus Jones Right Here, Right Now
Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes Ride the Night Away
R. E. M. Losing My Religion
Primal Scream Movin' On Up

Some usual-Morey-suspects, but also ATBBs from SSJ and Primal Scream, and only-from-Rob numbers by the V-Femmes and Joe Walsh (at least I don't *think* Dave's ever played "Ordinary Average Guy").

Per Rob, their then-label (Imago) went belly-up shortly after the LP was released and it's hard-to-find.

IIRC, Aimee Mann was another victim of that label's problems.

Dave has played "Movin' On Up" many times, at least once/yr since 2002.  But you're right about Joe Walsh, and incredibly there is not a single Femmes entry in the Db.
