Ha, I've long made this connection too.

Enjoyed the l-o-n-g version of "Light My Fire."  But OMGWTF it's Sonny and Cher, creating the thumping bass-sludge template for Vanilla Fudge!

This one's got an interesting origin, though: "DO NOT WANT is another phrase coined ... at 4chan’s /b/ board. It originated from horrible English subtitles of the Chinese version of Star Wars Episode III into Engrish, where instead of Darth Vader saying, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” near the final minutes of the film, the subtitles say, “Do not want.”
