Post by: RGMike on February 12, 2009, 07:49:25 AM
'89 & '90 tend to blend together for me...

Iggy Pop Candy
Vaughan Brothers Telephone Song
Posies Apology
Black Crowes Hard To Handle
Van Morrison Real Real Gone
Alannah Myles Black Velvet
Robert Plant Your Ma Said You Cried In Your Sleep Last Night
Rembrandts Just The Way It Is, Baby
Jane's Addiction Been Caught Stealing
Traveling Wilburys Inside Out

Sleep was the better option for me, again.

...and apparently for Rob as well!

Alannah Myles came out in 1989, and certainly in the first half of the year because I have a specific memory of it San Diego, before I moved up to UCSB that Sept.  And I think you've all heard my Jane's Addiction story, that album came out at the end of summer 1990.

I remember it from '89 too, but per Whitburn it didn't chart as a single until Jan 1990 -- news to me!
