Starman
Absolute Beginners
Panic in Detroit
All the Young Dudes
Fashion
Rebel Rebel 2003
Look Back in Anger
Changes
I'm Afraid of Americans
Let's Dance (live 2000)

a very nice assortment -- always sorry to miss "Absolute Beginners", one of the great forgotten singles of the '80s IMHO.

Agreed, that touched a lot of bases.  Alas, nothing of Bowie singing Elvis ... ;)

I asked Webster to play "Light My Fire" since it's Robbie Krieger's b-day & he is always overshadowed by Bowie & Elvis.  Mentioned that he was here with the Experience Hendrix show & I got to shake his hand.  Webster said he would, but never did.

Bastard

The honeymoon is over!

BTW, did they do the traditional sing-Bowie-like-Elvis-or-sing-Elvis-like-Bowie contest?

earlier today KUSF played Light My Fire as covered by Calvert DeForrest (aka Larry "bud" Melman from early Letterman fame). I didn't hear it, though, thank God.

It can't be as bad as the version by Mae West that I own.
