Title: The Peak, 1/6/09: 1975
Post by: RGMike on January 06, 2009, 07:43:49 AM
Bruce Springsteen Thunder Road
Electric Light Orchestra Fire On High
Nils Lofgren Back It Up
Pilot Magic
Tubes White Punks on Dope ("clean" edit, sez Rob)
Ace How Long
Elton John Pinball Wizard
Bonnie Raitt I'm Blowin' Away
Aerosmith Sweet Emotion
Band It Makes No Difference

despite the overplayed "classics" (Ace, Aerosmith) there's some fine stuff there: Lofgren, EJ, Bonnie, a Band song you NEVER hear, and while Dave loves him some "Whaddya want From Life" and "Don't Touch Me There", I don't think he's ever played "White Punks on Dope". Kudos, Rob!

I was listening but not posting (still not really awake yet), but this one was 9/10 a keeper.

Oh, I know he has, but it's been a while.  I'll look it up later.  I used to have the 45 of that.

What was the one song that spoiled the 10-for-10 sweep? Ace?

I'm guessing Sweet Emotion.
