convention '72? well, Bob gets semi-political with "Immigration Man". early VHM.
-
"Vaheevalah" (or howeverthehell it's spelled) -- BOS and proxy of cairo.
-
Bebe Rebozo! Bebe Rebozo!
BOS2 ABB, ain't wastin' time no mo'.
-
Mavis and daddy daddy daddy's "I'll Take You There" has become a radio cliche at this point, much as I love them/it.
-
BOS3 Jeff Beck, "Goin' Down" -- proxy of Rod.
-
Bob's most annoying habit: playing songs in their year of orig release, even tho' they only became hits years later. He does it with Orleans' "Dance With Me"" ('73/'75) and today he does it with PPL's "Amie" ('72/'75). And it's the looooooong version.
-
BOS4 Stones, at sixes and sevens and nines (oh my!).
-
America arrive to venture a highway on "Ventura Highway". And somewhere a 6-year-old Janet jackson said "I'm gonna sample that riff someday".
