"Meet the new boss / Same as the old boss" is precisely the WRONG sentiment for the day after Obama's electrifying speech signaling the imminent changing of the guard.  Unless Bob has a defeatist streak.

I don't know anything about her voting record or achievements, but it indeed sounds like McCain's cravenly trying to draw off the Clinton supporters who categorically reject Obama.  He should have chosen an economic policy wonk - or Ron Paul.

But I think I shall call her Geraldine.

But I think I shall call her Geraldine.
Or I could call her Jag-yew-ar, if I may be so bold.

I'm actually looking at Facebook friends' pics of the DNC crowds while listening to "Friends."  Lovely combination.

Upon your frozen cheeks "

BOS6 Tull, "Hymn 43" -- not to be confused with "Funk 49".

Led Zeppelin - Going to California
Van Morrison - Wild Night
Doors - The Wasp
CCR - Have You Ever Seen the Rain
Who - Won't Get Fooled Again
T. Rex - Jeepster
Elton John - Friends
Alice Cooper - I'm 18
Three Dog Night - Never Been to Spain
Jethro Tull - Hymn 43

Well, with '73 and '71 back-to-back, and a "good times" set on tap from Ginger, this is a fine Friday indeed, regardless of what Dave's "classic" is.
