Title: KBCO, 8/18/08: 1981

Ginger picks up where the Drive left off and we get more early 80s Stones. "Slave" wants to me my BOS.

eta:  well, Slave was recorded during the Black and Blue sessions back in 75, so it's not of the same energy as Emotional Rescue -- though both songs feature falsetto prominently.

missed the 2d song, but coming in at number three is little Stevie Winwood's "Arc of a Diver" doing a a two and half reverse pike with a twist:

>splash<

.... ooh, that was great, I expect the Chinese diver will get eights -- maybe nines -- on this one.

BOS to Joan Armatrading's second appearance of the day, her gorgeous "The Weakness in Me."  The sound of love.
