That Sexy Voice to start.

ETA: It's been nearly a month since Dave did '79 -- might we get a trifecta today?

Neil makes a 2nd appearance, my my.  Had Ginger picked the other version it would've been nice symmetry.

Rotten Johnny!"

i got a DVD collection of Roxy vids for xmas: Bryan Ferry appears to be channeling a sweaty, orgasmic Eddie Munster sometimes, lots of teeth and squinty eyes.  He also sports a military uniform in some of the mid-career years.  Anyway, Roxy Music BOS!  always!

Buffet turns a song into a generic shtick with "Boat Drinks". Thank you for much habitual drinking, indeed.

This was very impressive, Mike.

As are Bram T., who get my BOS.  (I wonder how many record stores correctly filed them under "B.")

BOS3 TP with a far bigger rarity than Bob gave us.

Sadly, I have to bail for a 9:30 meeting -- hope I get to hear Patti Smith before I go.

Sounding remarkably similar to Johnette Napolitano, dare I say.

WOS to James Taylor, somehow managing to make "Up on the Roof" boring.

somewhere in the quisling clinic there's a short-time tiger voting EC BOS #5!

ETA: Mike is glad he got his Patti, but sad he missed the end of the set.

I always thought it was "short-hand typist...

Btw, I saw the lineup for this year's Hardly Barely Bluegrass fest, and EC is making a return appearance. Also Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Nick Lowe, Iron & Wine, Odetta, Richard Thompson, and Pegi Young (wife of Neil). And all the usual folks (Emmylou, Steve Earle, Del McCoury and so forth). Looks like a good year.

I know, you guys pointed that out to me years ago.  That was my second best mondegreen, after "hold my coat and tie apart"...which we heard last week & I failed to make fun of myself then.
