didn't read all the links, but on the radio Saturday they said he was expected to make a full recovery, is that the gist of it?

Yup. He apparently found out about it the week of the RnRHOF inductions, and decided to wait 2 weeks before surgery because he wanted to record some new songs first!

The Pope can die, not a problem, but if Neil died, I'd be really upset.
