Early BOS to Bob Mould and Sugar, though they did several singles better than IICCYM.

to Lemonheads!  BOS to "It's a Shame About Ray," very evocative of what college sounded like for me.

after all that sugary stuff, "Baby Got back" would've been appropriate.

I love Stipe's goof-laugh in the middle of this as a refrain begins.

The Contest!  HM to Seinfeld.  ETA: "Good Stuff," indeed!  This track is kind of a gorgeous mess.

WOS B-52s, with the mis-named "Good Stuff".  Heard their current one in a movie theater "pre-show" the other day -- not that I'd want them to, but interresting that KFOG (which plays "Love Shack" like a current) didn't bite on the new 'twos.

"So let the people say we're downright nasty.  I just say we're down right."

Had Cindy retired by this point?  Sounds like Kate solo throughout.

The whole Funplex album sounds *exactly* like you'd expect it to.  It deserved better.  (But then, I get a kick out of Fred's Dang Good Stuff.)

mess being the operative word there ;)  This is in the "shamelessly recycling oneself" category for me.

OMFG! Steve Martin movie clip (Leap of Faith) followed by the soundtrack hit, Don Henley's cover of "Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat" -- KFOG played this quite a bit in late '92 -- surprised Dave's never featured it . BOS3FRA

Don't think I've heard it, but Leap of Faith was the last of Steve Martin's films for which he could argue that he was robbed of an Oscar nom.  He seems to have given up since.
