Hello... hello again. Getting the Cars outta the way early.
Easily my favorite Cars song. I used to play this Every. Damn. Morning. before leaving for school. Usually I'd also play Billy Joel's "Pressure," which my mom eventually found unnerving.

This ain't no Mudd Club or CBGB's!

as I've said before: one of the few "live" LPs that doesn't feel like a cheat on 10@10. BOS T.Heads, "Life During Wartime".

I will never forget hearing that line for the first time. My friend George and I (2 music geeks) were driving around Queens listening to the late great WPIX-FM, a New Wave-heavy rock station at a time when that was rare, and the DJ said "here's a brand new song from Talking Heads". When Byrne sang that line we both laughed out loud. Good times.

proxy of shray: "Hold Me Now". A long version?

Wohm My Haht! BOS2 from me.

Most folks I know associate this Henley LP with '85, however. VHM to having one's hair slicked back and one's Wayfarers on.
-
HM tro before-they-were-famous Bon Jovi, "Runaway."
-
BOS2 to the cheeze-for-breakfast of Bon Jovi's first hit, "Runaway".
-
BOS3 Pretenders, still a sublime pop single IMHO.
-
BOS3 to "Back on the Chain Gang," Chrissie's acknowledgement that someone else's failures won't stop her from moving forward.

speaking of failures: wrong year, Bob! (or so sez Top40 db).
VHM Percy and his big, er, honeydripper.

OMGWTFLOL! Bob continues in his quest to play all of EJ's '80s hits! BOS4 "IGTWTCITB".
-
Bob finished in fine form with IGTWTCITB.

Careful, we might be subjected to "Who Wears These Shoes?" next time.

Ha! Given that Dave rarely plays '80s Elton, I'd even be cool with that.
BOS5 VH -- a VERY fine '84 set.
-
Oops, I thought EJ was tune no. 10. HM to VH, a video staple that year (along with their other vids).
