My last 10@10 (in real time) for the week: I'm in training today from 9-1 and tomo'w from 8-noon. So I'll miss Dave's Pride Set as well as what I suspect may be a '60s set today.
-
Cliche-of-cliches: Bob begins his '78 set with "Baker Street"
-
BOS and proxy of Gaz: JS, "Count On Me", forever the Family Stone closing-credits song.
-
The Money man needs wawder, on the Mexican bawder.
-
No static at all. VHM "FM", just 'cause of the folks whio dissed post-Roayl Scam Dan yesterday.
-
BOS2 the late great Nicolette Larson, "Lotta Love"
-
BJ provides Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari with a sitcom theme song.
-
BOS3 to a major rarity/bustout: The Who, "The Music Must Change".
Actually, it *did* change in '78 -- disco happened, but The Who wrote an anti-disco song, so I guess they were looking for a different kind of change.
-
BOS4 Cheap Trick when they were (VERY) good, "Surrender" a power-pop classic of the first order.
-
proxies of geoff & Alicat for some bearable Dead, "Fire on the Mountain"
-
No, no, no, no, no, child. VHM Heart, "D&B".
ETA: I'd never noticed the wind chimes at the end before.
-
Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street
Jefferson Starship - Count on Me
Eddie Money - Gimme Some Water
Steely Dan - FM
Nicolette Larson - Lotta Love
Billy Joel - My Life
The Who - The Music Must Change
Cheap Trick - Surrender
Grateful Dead - Fire on the Mountain
Heart - Dog and Butterfly
-
So I'll miss Dave's Pride Set as well as what I suspect may be a '60s set today.
I'm sure it'll be the same Pride set as always: Hello "Simple Life," etc.

I don't know about that--Dave's promising to "mix it up a bit." See my post in the "Dave's blog" thread, or just go here and read for yourself:
