TOTHK: Fab 4, "1 After 909". BOS from me, and Willie Nelson's version is pretty fab too.
-
MAJOR BOS to "Everybody Is a Star." I adore this song.
-
Hoo LAWD! BOS2 Sly, "Everybody Is A Star", which was the flip of "Thank You..." and actually got Top 40 play first in NYC -- "Thank You" didn't get picked up until several weeks after EIAS started getting exposure.
-
BOS3 Youngbloods, "Darkness Darkness" -- Bob's off to a very fine start, I must say.
-
The song of the Puerto Rican Jew: "Oy Vey Como va"
Oy Vey! early Ronstadt! BOS4 "Long Long Time", the last song I ever played on my college radio station.
-
VHM to "Rock & Roll," Lou Reed's dickishness notwithstanding.

BOS5 S&G. I'd rather be a forest than a street, indeed. Bob's closing out an excellent week in fine style.
