guess you won't settle for JT -- LOL!  The golden age of the "mellow remake" hits its high/low point, depending on your POV.

come-a come-a come-a come-a come come -- a coma?

old mondegreen - both my brother and I thought Henley was singing about the heart of Cocoa City, which I'm sure we assumed was right next to Cocoa Beach of I Love Jeanie fame.

She said, "Listen, baby. You can hear the engine ring.
"We've been up and down this highway; haven't seen a god-damn thing."

which I always heard as "...hear the engine race/seen a god-damn face"

Not quite as major a BOS as the Townshend/Lane tune, but BOS nonetheless to Time is Runnin' Out, from Winwood's first solo album, when Stevie first became Steve.

Likewise, and post Blind Faith the only other Winwood tune I've ever BOS'ed anywhere was "Spanish Dancer".

But this certainly got jazzy/funky at the end.  Gonna have to add this to my collection.

I was gonna post that it sounded like War at the end - not far afield from "Me and Baby Brother."
