I may have to miss part of this for a last-minute meeting, but I'm sure Marcus/Ginger won't let us down.

Holy Moses, two would-be-Morey-bustouts and we're only 4 songs in.

I've mentioned many times the local music-video UHF station in NJ that premiered around this time (U-86); they had to improvise since MTV had exclusivity on a lot of big-name videos. So they played a lot of Chris Isaak's early stuff that MTV was sort of ignoring. My first exposure to him.

Holy crap! rare Petty, "Make it Better" -- BOS3 (I'll give the underrated Hooters BOS2).

so it wasn't just me feeling a slight let down here, much as I love Ferry generally.

Wow!  Super Duper BOS for the Stranglers "Skin Deep".  One of my all-time faves of the period.

Sometimes it's tougher to look than to leap

I love him too, but yeah -- we've been doing so well so far that a Moreytrina dampens the enthusiasm. But we recover nicely with the Stranglers, "Skin Deep"! BOS6.  Two killer sets in a row from Marcus.
