Lawdy mama: "Rock'n'Roll Hootchie Coo" for the 3rd time in less than a week -- Dave and Casey Kasem both played it in '74. (not to be confused with "Rock'n'Roll Hootchie Skank", aka the Pussycat Dolls)
-
BOS The Mighty Zep (duh), "OTH&FA".
-
BOS2: Jackson Browne punches an unemployed actor in "Ready or Not"
-
cheeze for breakfast: Styx, "Lady", which Bob always plays in '73, tho' I didn't become aware of it until it hit the Top 40 in early '74.
BOS3 Todd, "Hello It's Me", another legal-for-play-in-2-different-years hit.
-
Yikes, and now we get Joe Walsh screaming for the 2nd time in a week (and also in a different year than Dave played it in -- my head is spinning now)
-
I still like "Meadows", but we sure have heard it often recently.

but there's a "Bluebird" in Macca's meadow! BOS4 and kudos to Bob for a rarity that's sounding swell to my ears this morning.

Me too!

BOS +1, "Simple Man", which would be a bustout were it from Dave.

really? that's funny, since it has made many KFOG playlist appearances in the last couple years. And I was quite surprised the first time I heard them play it, it was a semi-obscure "deep track", at least in this market.

Steely Dan My Old School
Led Zeppelin Over the Hills and Far Away
Jackson Browne Ready or Not

That song never fell out of favor in Pittsburgh's classic-rock market. Of course, they've got a lot of simple men there.

That's why Hillary has a 20-point lead in PA ;)
