I'm sure no one has. 10-way-tie, obvs. Hoping for one funky soul cut - Tempts? Or the Box Tops' "Neon Rainbow" would sound nice today.

Ginger asks, "How could they not have called their Best Of comp All That Nazz?"
and I say, "How could The Who not have sued them for stealing the opening bars from 'The Kids Are Alright'?"
-

She encouraged people to call in with their favorites, suggestions, requests, as well as what they don't like ... and then mentioned that there's a very vocal club in San Francisco that (paraphrasing) lets her have it when she goes into the '90s.
-

Well, she's certainly redeeming herself today--as she does most of the time. I consider her 90s sets an aberration.

and really it was just last week's 90's set...usually her 90's sets are at least a full paygrade above Dave's, and we complain about Dave's by saying they could at least be as intersting as Ginger's.

Yeah, exactly. I guess Ginger's more sensitive to criticism than Dave is.

not at all, I talked to her and she was taking it all with a grain of salt. She said 90's sets are tough and she still appreciates our comments.
