another twice-in-one-week smackdown. And Ginger's got her work cut out, after Bob's Terrific Tuesday set (and how often is it even a contest?). Betting on Buddy Miles to make a posthumous appearance.
-
instant BOS Macca, "That Would Be Something". And it is!
-
Jim & Co go down to the roadhouse for the umpteenth time.
-
BOS2 Peter Boyle in Joe. VHM CSNY, "4+20".

Nice CSNY

Making its 2nd appearance of the week -- I BOS'd it Tuesday.
-
BOS3 Joni's orig "Woodstock", gettin' my soul free.
-
BOS4 rare Van the Man: "These Dreams of You" -- not to be confused with Heart's "These Dreams", to which it is infinitely superior ;)
-
BOS5 Jimi, "Angel"
-
BOS6 EJ -- like a coin in your mint, he is dented.
-
BOS Station Man.
nice!
-
BOS7 and proxy of geoff: F.Mac, "Station Man".
-
I've never heard this F-Mac song "Station Man", BOSFRA.

Proxy of me, too. Love this album--it's on Kiln House, Mark. Def. worth seeking out. This and Jewel-eyed Judy are two standouts. This was Mac in transition, from the Peter Green era, to Jeremy Spencer/Danny Kirwan. Bob Welch had not yet come into the fold, but Christine Perfect (later McVie) was beginning to take part as well.
ETA: Tell Me All The Things You Do is on KH as well--which appears in the DB exactly once, seven years ago.

VHM MTM

OMG! BOS8 Jimmy Cliff, "Wonderful World/Beautiful People" -- we didn't get to hear this from Dave in Jan since he didn't do the MLK set.
ETA: love the shout-outs to Nixon, Harold Wilson, and Kosygin.

It's time we add BOSFRA to our list-o'-acronyms. (Best of Set for Rarity Alone, in case that wasn't clear.)
