Post by: RGMike on February 27, 2008, 08:01:56 AM
a Bob AOR-a-thon, I'm guessing, tho' he has surprised us with "Afternoon Delight" on occasion.

ah, who could forget our first glimpse of Mickey Thomas?

I fooled around and fell in love with an American Girl.  Hearing Roger McGuinn on CG yesterday reminds me -- I wish somebody'd play *his* version of this song for once.

Rocky into "Love Is the Drug" was an interesting choice.  Of course, for Sly these days, HGH is the drug ...

Rocky... "wait for the bell to ring". Ha! Didn't occur to me until you mentioned it but --- yeah.  (Probably didn't occur to Bob either)

I thought Mrs Jackson Browne committed suicide several years earlier than '76?

HM to Rod's foreshadowing of his rocky divorce-settlement history to come: "The First Slut Is the Cheapest."

"You don't know me, but I'm your brother."  Sounded even sillier out of the mouth of Taylor Hicks.

Peter Finch was gushing about the 17-year-old who sang "Imagine" on American Idol last nite, speaking of incongruity.

Good question.  Cock-rock, when it's done well, at least has a slinky swagger to it.  Meat-rock just thunks.
