can't remember the last time I heard this on the radio.
-
BOS to George, "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)." Will be hard to top this today.

last time Ginger played it, in a "Winter" set a couple years ago, probably. rare and wonderful!
"Boin a candle yo' ya!"

This could easily have been a jinx line. This song is new to me; I like. Is this Mick Taylor instead of Keef on the guitar?
-
Another BOS, Sly.

OK, Sly's "If You Want Me to Stay" counts as topping the GH. The most bitterly cynical pop hit ever, and I love every second of it.
-
BOS2 Sly. Yes, we'd like you to stay -- but ditch the coke, dude.
-
but ditch the coke, dude.
That's the only way he can get the MESS-AGE over to you now.
-
VHM to Jackson Browne, "These Days," a tune that always gets me a little weepy. The other side of the bitterly cynical coin.
-
BOS3 and proxy of geoff: Jackson Browne's version of "These Days".

or maybe those cranypants are chafing yer bollocks.
-
BOS4 and proxy of Rod: Geils. "You got to get it up!"
-
BOS3 to the cheeze medley (though "Me and Mrs. Jones" was descending the charts by Jan. 1973).
-
BOS4 to "American Tune." I played this more than usual in the weeks following 9/11.
-
hooray for Cheeze!
and BOS5 "American Tune". Ginger scores a fabulous set for a Monday (or any other day).
-
got in late, sorry to have missed rare Stones.
BOS Paul Simon "American Tune".
-
Great cheeze medley.
BOS #....whatever American Tune
-
And now "The Real Me," in case Shray was feeling left out of the love in this set.
-
BOS The Real Me

Not at all. And iirc this should be a proxy of Davemack as well.

Hear hear. Wish i'd heard the first half of it--had I not been passed up by a full bus at 8:30, I actually might have. $)*%&@ Muni!
BOS3 Who (following the Simon and Geils tunes).
-
OMFG!!
BOS4, Loudo's Dead Skunk--possibly the only song (let alone charting song) to include the word "olfactory."
-
C'mon, Stink! You got it, it's dead!

BOS # whatever for me -- this was #40 on this weekend's Klassic Kasem countdown from Feb '73.
-
BOS Dead Skunk!
-
Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!
-
Well, I missed the first half, but Ginger's five-for-five in the songs I *did* hear--BOS5, the Dead, Eyes of the World. Garcia owns this one.
DOWN GOES FRAYZHA!!! DOWN GOES FRAYZHA!!
Great clip.
-
Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!
That Niles packs quite a punch.
I'll even be nice and VHM the Dead. Ginger has, er, removed my crankypants.

Now that would be a sight for the eyes of the world.
-
Mike's not the only one who got his attitude adjusted by that set--and I only heard half of it!
Now off to the local set. Guessing it'll be 77 or maybe 76--both are due.
ETA: We gotta find someone in the Boulder area to record some of Ginger's sets for us. This one would have certainly been worthy.
