Just as I remember the year: Urge Overkill's take on "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon," followed by STP's "Interstate Love Song," and then a personal fave, Indigo Girls' "Least Complicated," from the criminally underrated Swamp Ophelia, their best album to date.

WOS to "Black Hole Sun," which was treated as some sort of massive watershed moment for grunge when it came out, though I never got the point of it.

Indigo Girls got BOS from me, with HM to Smashing Pumpkins' "Landslide," a cover that only I still enjoy, apparently.
