I've never heard Cocker do "Darling Be Home Soon."  (And I've only heard the Spoonful do it once.)

Doesn't anyone know how to pronounce "toddle"? Cocker sings it "Tawdle", li'l Michael Jackson sez "toodle"...

He's a wild card for me.  He's written one of my absolute all-time faves ("Summer in the City") and one of my absolute all-time least faves ("Daydream"), so I'm never quite sure of his output.

You really need to hear his first solo LP, John B Sebastian, from 1970

Ginger can usually be counted on for some John Prine, and this is actually a song I have heard on other radio stations.

I can't recall which songs are on which LPs of his. I take you you've not heard the Bette Midler cover of this, on The Divine Miss M?

Me neither. Damn I get here at 5 after 9 and I still miss something amazing.

BOS1 & 2, Carole King and John Prine.

This is definitely not Dave's 1971 set.

Jeepster brings it a little closer to Dave's territory.
