Indeed, this is very early Cockburn, but still something like his 5th or 6th LP.  He's nothing if not prolific.

They covered the Manassas track?  Damn, very sorry I missed that!  BOS from me, with a VHM to "Trick of the Tail," a melody that occasionally gets stuck in my head for hours on end.

Several of them were members of Manassas, no?  They re-wrote the lyric, making it more of a love song.
