In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there
well,, that's what mountains do best -- they, er, stand there. Prog at its most enjoyably incomprehensible.

VHM GG, "RnR Pt 2". So, he's back from non-person-ness? Was he acquitted?
-
Best Bob line in ages: "Wilt Chamberlain scores his 30,000th point -- equalling the number of women he'd dated" ROTFL! "and the colored girls go..."

Heh: Just last night I was reading an I Love Music thread on indecipherable Bernie Taupin lyrics, and this came up: "Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids / In fact, it's cold as hell / And there's no one there to raise them / If ya did." That really does not make sense. Unless he's singing "if you're dead" in a really thick accent.
Anyway. Still VHM.

Sweet Lou's just speedin' away and EJ's high as a kite. Valium *would've* helped that pass.

Yes! thank you -- I've always thought that was particularly nonsensical. Unless he's referring to the shortage of nannies on Mars.

I don't know this power-pop song! With the opening drum/claps, I almost misidentified as "Metal Guru." Whassiz?
-
"A little old-fashioned, but that's all right": BOS3 to Rod.

Pink Floyd, "Free Four"? Seriously? Bob plays it fairly regularly, and Ginger's featured it too, iirc.

Rod's worn it so well he's worn it down: I do believe we've also heard this in Dave and Ginger '72 sets within the last few weeks. But hey, there'd be no "Hard Luck Woman" without it.
