After having heard Edwin Starr's "Stop the War -- NOW!" Sat morning, I heard the Tempts version of "War" that nite on KPOO.

Oh, how was that?  I knew it existed but have never heard it.

Both versions rather similar, actually.

Don't forget "For What It's Worth" - even if most people have no idea that there even *were* riots on Sunset, much less that the song was *not* written about Vietnam War protests.

"I Don't Like Mondays" also qualifies.
