OMFG what a fine set --not only the DeVille and Friedman (an only-in-NY turntable-hit if ever there was one) but Garland Jeffreys and BOC too... and yes, that's '77 all right. Worth catching on the replay.
TANC: CG played Friedman's UK #1, "Lucky Stars" (a rather annoying record, IMHO) yesterday during the retro-countdown show; it was 'bubbling under" the Top 20 that week.
