From a Whisper to a Blue Jean.
-
Super Duper BOS for OMD's wonderful "Talking Loud & Clear". But sorry Marcus -- Breakfast Club came out in '85.
-
a sort of VHM, U2.
-
Percy and his, er, Honeydrippers, adrift on the Sea of Love.
-
The Rave-Ups? Who?? "Positively Lost Me" is the title, and it's done exactly that.

sounds a bit BoDean-ish, FWIW.
-
cheeze medley's "I'm So Excited". "We're Not Gonna take it" and "On the dark Side" -- any one woulda livened up this set. Certainly more so than SRV, who has become the go-to cliche in mid-'80s sets.
-
BOS2 Sade's "Smooth Operator", the looooong version! But I also associate this with '85.
-
You might think we'd've escaped '84 without hearing the Cars, but...
-
BOS3 Los Lobos, "Don't Worry Baby" (NOT the BBs song).

Wow, you don't know that? It would've gotten a big fat Best of Week from me in all likelihood.
