Post by: RGMike on December 14, 2007, 09:02:52 AM
meeting slightly delayed. Guess I'll slip out da back, Jack.

ETA: I missed the intro and assumed it was '75, but no.

BOS Tommy Bolin, who else plays him but Ginger?

No regrets, but a proxy of Gaz: "Coyote". I'd've never guessed in '76 that this song would get so much airplay in the '00s.

Wow, I had someone on my mind today on the way to work to whom "Coyote" and "Stay" very much apply.  Quite an omen.

Stay --
That's what I meant to say, or do something
But what I never say is
Stay this time
I really meant to so bad this time

Cause you can never really tell
When somebody
Wants something you want too ...

And suddenly I'm in Cambridge Common on a spring day, visions of a black-haired boy dancing in my head.  Ah, Boston.

Would you believe I've never heard this?  Nor do I believe I've heard (Ronstadt's?) version.  Loving it, VVVHM.

Becker & Fagen's bookkeeper's son deserves a mention.  Luckless pedestrians ...
