Title: The Peak, 12/12/07: It's 1976

Like a watercolor in the rain, this set starts off prettily, with AS's "Year of the Cat."  Guess we all missed this one this a.m.  I won't spoil the surprise by checking the recently played list.

PS: This version has an extended intro and a bridge that are unfamiliar to me.  Was the single I know and love a radio edit?

BOS2, Blondie looks good in blue.  "I could give you some head / And shoulders to lie on."  You don't say.

BOS3 and proxy of Alicat to "Long May You Run," in which Neil heard "Lonely People" and thought, "I can do that.  Oh wait, I DID that."

Bowie's "Golden Years" is an HM -- it's actually my least favorite track from Station to Station, which tells you how phenomenal I find that album -- and BOS3 to SSJ&TAJ's "I Don't Want to Go Home."

YES!!!  A great set becomes sublime as the Flamin' Groovies shake some action!

Yup. The album version's 6:40. You had to be the Eagles to get a 6-min single on Top 40 radio in '76. Or Queen.
