Are they addressing "Sonny" or "Sunny"?

Regardless, the Beatle thread continues through George's "Apple Scruffs," one I don't hear much.

Just wondering, in the history of Rock & Roll suicides, has there been another band that had two members take their own lives?  Badfinger might be the most ill-fated band ever.

and BTW, Bob, "Apple Scruffs" isn't about "Beatle fans" in general, but about a specific group of young female groupies who used to sit outside the Apple Records offices in London, day in and day out, hoping for a  glimpse of Beatleness.

The Temptations has one actual and two virtual.  But that's not what you're asking.
