Human Beinz havin' a Human Be-In!
And the Stones serenade some chick named Ruby.
BOS1 & 2.
-
We've heard quite a lot of across-the-spectrum Stones in the past week: Angie, Saint of Me, Time Waits for No One, Just My Imagination, and now Ruby Tuesday.
-
They calll him MISTAH Tibbs! BOS3 Sidney. Tales of brave Ulysses indeed!
-
Jack Bruce somehow always got a pass for his word salad. Anyone know what this was supposed to mean?
-
I think we just heard "Mr. Soul" the other day, but I'll give it a BOS anyway. Guess Keef didn't mind the "JJF" nicking.

Mistah Tibbs, meet Mistah Soul!

Whoa--here's one DM could visit more often--BOS1, Buffalo Springfield, Mr. Soul. The Stills/Young guitar interplay is superlative.
-
One thing I noticed from the latest iteration of the Shraytabase is that Dave has not played "Somebody to Love" OR "White Rabbit" in a 1967 set!

actually "MrSoul' predates JJF.

As Bob Shannon noted on CBS-FM the other day, Sam & Dave are from "good stock", NOT "Woodstock".
-

Kinda bored by the (Fred Neil?) take on "Morning Dew."
-
Double whoa! BOS2 and Proxy of Geoff! GD, Morning Dew. This song was a tour de force for the band's live shows right up to their final days.

to a non-Deadhead, hearing their name and "tour de force" in the same sentence provokes giggles.
The Fabs Fix a Hole. VHM.

'67 --- NOT too far back, Ginger. We'd love to hear '66 or '65 occasionally too.
'97 -- weeeeell.... It's not "too soon" exactly, but no more than 2 or 3 times a year.
We love ya, Ginger!
