Title: The Peak, 09/17/07: It's 1976

September 17 already?  Yikes.

An anniversary only of significance to me: It was 11 years ago this morning that I moved my meager belongings from Pittsburgh to San Francisco, on the urging of a now departed friend, to more or less start life over again.  The biggest -- and best -- decision I ever made.

Anyway, we kick off with Queen, "Somebody to Love."

Proxy of Mike (and others?), "Mozambique."  I'm not a huge fan but am always impressed by titles that contain both a "z" and a "q."

My BOS goes to Boz, "Georgia."  Those aren't the Chicago horns backing him up, are they?

Oh, and Proxy of Mike II to Garland Jeffreys, "Wild in the Streets."

TANC: Little Steven played this last nite.  Sounds like a typical Rob '70s set-- if only Garland Jeffries were on Ginger/Bob/Dave's radar screens.
