BOS Romeo Void, "A Girl in Trouble", which died just as it was starting to make headway, chart-wise, because a lot of radio stations decided it was pro-abortion.  The reverse of the Seal & Crofts situation from a decade before.

and VHM Billy Idol "Eyes w/out a Face" -- the first time I heard this I thought it was Spandau Ballet.
