I don't HATE it, but I don't LIKE it, and I'm trusting Ginger will not go for, say, "She Drahve Mah Crayzay."

Denzel says, "What about us, what do we get?"

Mshray says, you get your first Oscar, that's what.

the Alarm & Chris Isaak are both songs that, in Dave's hands, sound like much bigger Katrina's than they actually are.  I bet the bulk of Ginger's listeners don't get over-exposed to 'em.

yeah, I'm guessing Isaak in particular isn't the playlist staple there that he is here.  Still. I'd like to hear a couple of truly Gingeresque bustouts in the 2nd half.

And early Big Head Todd was not what I had in mind...

Did Del Amitri cover this?  Or just do a song that sounds a lot like it?

So far, with the exception of the Pixies tune, we're firmly in Morey territory.

You should have been more specific, and excluded BHT off the top.  It's a certainly a Ginger-esque bustout.

BOS to the Cure's "Lullaby."  Great song, though it had no chance to be a hit, even following up "Love Song."

We heard a very obscure BHT track, then Del Amitri.  Nobody has covered that BHT track, I'm sure.

Agreed, maybe with the second exception of this Cure song, but Ginger's only got one song left to pull her usual rabbit out of the hat.

YES!

I saw him do his comedy routine in the commons at UCSB around this time, and my friend & I had a rather lengthy chat with him afterwards.  Nice guy, and every bit as smart as his cast-mate Dennis the Menace.

Oh, sorry, I wasn't paying full attention and thought the BHT WAS "Kiss This Thing Goodbye."
