I'd love that too. But "Sara" is fine for starters.
-
This ain't no Mudd Club, or CBGBs. I remember the very first time I heard that line, and I laughed out loud. BOS.
And VHM to one of the Iggles' finest ballads, "I can't Tell You Why".

I had the right answer to yesterday's request-o-rama question but couldn't get through. Had I been successful I was going to ask for either the Records or Bram T myself.

I think JCM would be offended to hear his "John Cougar" album described as "self-titled."

Well, 28 years later, yeah. But at the time he was JC(no)M.
Damn those torpedoes.

Dammit, I thought we were really getting "I Want Your Love." I'm giving it BOS anyway as a protest vote.
-
WOS Journey; VHM VH.
Dammit, I've got a 2-hour meeting 9-to-11, meaning I'll miss Ginger's '68 set -- I'm pissed!
-
BOS Halen!
Sit yourself down. Hey wait a minute! Where are you going?
-
Here comes Nick Lowe's Rainy Day Feelin' Again.

A Katrina, but still a pleasant one to my ears: "Cruel to Be Kind." I like Nick Lowe so much better when he tilts away from rockabilly and toward Squeeze-ish pop.
-
VHM Steve Martin IS The Jerk,
That's all I need. That and this paddle game. This paddle game, the ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need. And this remote control. The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need....
...And my dog.
[dog barks at him]
I don't need my dog.

WOS to ZZ Top; I never really saw the point of this cover.

I loves my long bearded dudes, but I have to agree on this one.

didn't turn off the player promptly & was rewarded with Ides of March "Vehicle". Sweet.

Conversely, I turned on KBCO early and was rewarded with the almost-as-sweet "Fortress Around Your Heart," probably my favorite Sting solo track.
