I dunno -- a woman who tears up money doesn't sound too dreamy to me. But her time is gonna come.
BOS the Mighty Zep.

that's why he's a drunkard.

OMG!
This is the BOS I've been waiting for...Jethro Tull "Reasons For Waiting". Such a lovely song.
-
Wow, this Tull tune (the name of which escapes me--'69 is not the part of their career I'm too up on) is great--again, Ginger never ceases to amaze.

LOL! BOS2 little-heard Tull.

BOS2 (I came in late) to Neil & the Horse, Everybody Knows...
Which reminds me of a mondegreen I maintained for years re: this song:
"You gotta get away from the skinny day, runnin' around...."
-
Everybody knows this is BOS3.
-
BOS4, "BMW1".
-
Is this a demo tape of "Black Magic Woman"? Wasn't listening close enough to Ginger's intro. Been a while since I heard the original, but this souonds different (in that demo tape sort fo way). Maybe jsut my speakers at work.
-
Yesterday Ginger closed with Elvis Is Everywhere, and today she proves Mojo Nixon right!
-
BOS5 in perpetuity "Suspicious Minds" -- I've heard it a million times, but it really is one of the greatest pop singles ever, IMHO.

no argument from me!
-
BOS6 Stones, "Love in Vain". Ginger's kicking butt this morning.

Nor I. Oh for a return to the public mindset where a song like this could be a huge hit.
And while I'm here, BOSX+1, Love In Vain.
-
WOS to "Love in Vain." Drunk C/W Mick isn't my idea of a good time. But BBBOS to "Suspicious Minds," probably one of my 10 favorite No. 1 hits.

no question. Kicking butt & taking names. That 1-2 of Tull & Young to close the first half was jsut phenomenal.
-

It sure is mine!
(...so I ran 20 red lights in His honor...)
de gustibus non disputandum est.

Stronger than dirt!
I had a teacher (freshman year of HS) who thought this was the worst. lyric. ever.

VHM: It's a Beautiful Hot Summer Day.

Oh hush, you.
BOS7 Cronkite and the "Zodiac" -- was that just for us?
The movie should be out on DVD shortly -- see it if you haven't already.
and BOS8 (!) It's a Beautiful Hot Summer day.

It's a Beautiful Hot Summer day.
Now that was prejinxable.

I was wondering the same thing. Or just 'cuz IABD is a bay area band.
And with reference to the song, it's about to be. Feels like it could sizzle out today--by SF standards anyway (mid-80s anyone?).

Dunno if Ginger will do a Summer Set next week, but if so, I'll regret missing it. Wonder if Dave'll be around to do his first "live" Pride Set in several years?
