I just think it's an awful song, borderline unlistenable, IMHO. Far worse than "We Built This City" -- it baffles me why that song (which seems to be trying to actually say something) is so hated, when crappy AOR-pandering dreck like "Jane" and other JS songs of that period ("Find Your way back" is another) are tolerated as enjoyable cheeze. And it's followed by Lovin', Touchin. Journeyin'. Yeesh.
Sorry, I missed my usual 7:11 BART train and had to wait 10 minutes, so I'm wearin' the Levis 501 Crankyblues.
-
Ah, but here's one Gaz & I can agree on: LRB, "Cool Change". Lovely, even tho' the lyrics are borderline. (The albatross & the whale, they are my brothers?)

Yes, BOS from me. Like I've said before, LRB always weirdly came across as if English weren't their first language.

Yes! I never thought about it, but Yes!
Bob's really AOR-bound this morning... Supertrina and now BadCo. Sadly, his disco choices are severely limited, compared to Dave's.

Continuing the AOR train, "Head Games," feh. Furriner did much better than this.

Still more AOR cheeze: Foreigner, playing Head Games.

neither had I thought of it that way, but likewise I concur...
and, being Aussies, I doubt the boys in LRB would argue either!
