BOS1 to Brian's Song.  I never saw the movie, but his autobio was immensely touching and he's someone I wish I'd known.

BOS2 to "Take Me Home, Country Roads," because I don't care how uncool John Denver is or was, at his best he's pure fresh air.

Bill & Taffy = 1/2 of Starland Vocal Band, right?  I saw web footage of JD performing this on some TV show with Cass Elliot singing the harmony vocal.  Wow was that nice.

on KFOG last week Thursday Peter came on & related a conversation he'd had in the car with his son about which song has the greatest intro of all time, and eventually they settled on "Baba O'Reilly".  Lots of Fogheads called in with suggestions, but many of them seconded the motion, so in the end this was still the consensus pick.

good for Bob!  Sounds like he did it on purpose.  Wish he'd played the intro with the dog teddy on it.
