Ginger has the universe reclining in her hair. instant BOS "Jeepster".
And I'm gonna SUCK ya!
-
BOS #2 Wild Horses couldn't drag me away from one of Ginger's fine sets!
-
"and what's YOUR bag, Klute?"
BOS2 Jane. Her new movie, Georgia Rule, is getting even worse reviews than Monster-in-Law. But she was great on Colbert the other night (and she was, quite literally, ON Colbert).
-
all together now: "Tina's pumpin' 'tane, Ike's snortin' 'caine"
"Lissen to the story now!"
-
BOS3 the Mighty Zep at the Hop.
-
Elton hates bitchiness? Is he kidding?
-
OMG! Elton's browned off!!
and double OMG! BOS to Where to Now, St. Peter?
-
Elton hates bitchiness? Is he kidding?
He was still conflicted back then.

Holy Crow!
FMac "Woman of 1000 Years"
Anyone heard this on a 10@10 before?
-
OMG! Elton's browned off!!
per the Dictionary of Brit Slang, "Upset, fed up, miserable." Not an expression one hears every day.

Well, we all know what an Anglophile our Urthwerm is.

I wanna say Ginger's played it before, but certainly no one else has. BOS4.

Took me awhile to figure out who this was--I wanted to say it sounded like the Posies, except they (like me) were about 12 in 1971. Maybe younger.
And to answer your question, no. Never before. BOS2.

Perhaps, but the only time I've run across that term before is from a song called "Oh, Lord, I'm Browned Off" on the Faces box set that came out a couple years back.
Although you have to admit, just by its nature, you can guess what it means. I can't picture being browned off is something one aspires to.
And BOS3, the Dead, Playin' in the Band. Proxy of Ali-Geoff.
-
And a big ol' Proxy for Geoff, "Playin' In the Band", written about Robbie Robertson perhaps? Danko?
another bustout, methinks, in any case.

I'm sorry to hear that... ;)
I missed the entire first half of the set, but that said, I'm still prepared to nominate everything from the Zep tune forward as Set o' the Week.
