Better than Dave's "classic" last week?

Mr Ferry kisses & tells to start.

Whatever happened to his acting career?

this song is useful for multiple theme sets: songs that mention bars/clubs (why do you always wind up at Nick's Cafe?), songs that mention places (all the way to Kokomo), song's that mention fictitious people (Madame X), songs with quoted dialogue (she said, "You'll like it now, but you'll learn to love it later").

I'm not really that crazy about the Furs generally, except that "The Ghost In You" remains one of my top 10 songs of the decade.  I think all the rest of their hits sound way to similar for unconditional BOS voting.

BOS JCM, "Hard Times for an Honest Man" indeed.  Lonesome Jubilee is quite a fine LP, tho' Scarecrow gets most of the kudos (and placements on best-of-the-decade lists).

VHM Sting, "Fragile".. Am I the only one who remembers Dionne Warwick's rather nice cover of this?

I would call this Sting-when-he-was-good.  This is really a fine album all the way through.  so BOS #3 to "Fragile"

Well, this is a welcome track--REM's Begin the Begin. Although I thought Life's Rich Pageant was '86.

I missed whatever you were commenting on, but Robbie has acted in a couple of movies. Carny is the one that comes to mind--it was OK, not Oscar material by any means, but he was good in it. I recall that Robbie and Marty Scorsese were roommates for a time in the late 80s. (Why either would need a roommate is beyond me, but there you go.)

Another BOS from me, this is turning into yet another commendable set from Ginger.

I always wanted Luther Vandross to cover Ms Vega's hit as "My Name is Loofa."

Ginger may have played this before, but it's a Narada to me. A good one, tho'.
