Title: MJ on Trial
Post by: RGMike on March 02, 2005, 03:57:12 PM
Surely we ought to have a thread for this, no?

Today's juicy tidbit:

"A Las Vegas public relations specialist who briefly worked for Michael Jackson gave damaging testimony against the pop star Wednesday, suggesting his associates arranged a smear campaign against the family who would ultimately accuse him of molestation.

Ann Marie Kite said she was told by a Jackson lawyer that they would portray the mother of a boy as a 'crack whore' in the media."

So, MJ molested Eric Cartman? Dude! Sweet!

I have no problem, but the anal retentive webmaster in me would like to note that there are many duplicate threads here, and the beauty of this structure is that we can keep a thread going over a long period of time, if we realize it's worth linking to.  There's only 12 of us, we can do it!

The jury has made their decisions. They're reading the verdict at 1:45pm.

NOT guilty on ALL counts. Wow.

CG followed the "not guilty" verdict with "Beat It". LOL!

Guaranteed, that's tomorrow's New York Post headline.

And you heard the joke here first: Michael Jackson hasn't had a sweep like this since the '84 Grammys.

Har har!

"it doesn't matter
who's wrong or right
just Beat It!"

CG is playing an MJ marathon til the top of the hour. I hadn't heard "Say Say Say" in ages.

Wow. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. His accuser & family were "shady" enough to create doubt in the jury, I guess.

Michael's probably all: "I'm going to Disneyland!" right now.

Well, it's certainly a good day for those who have always maintained Michael's innocence.

I think those folks should send their kids to Neverland unchaparoned. Y'know, to celebrate with Michael.

I'd be great if he were Satan's new boyfriend- but Satan's probably too old.

HA-HA! Just joking! Cuz after all- MJ's been found innocent in a court of law. He must be innocent, right?

Part of me really doesn't even wanna talk about this anymore.....

Well, I find it easier to believe in MJ's innocence than OJ's.

Michael is certainly guilty of being way creepy.  He's guilty of believing it's okay to sleep in the same bed with children.  And there's no law against ---  ah, never mind.  Lot's of parts of me don't want to talk about this either...

tt's because you haven't seen the famous documentary unveiled in berlin last month! i don't know what it's called, but it shows a lot of what was left out of the trial. the truth you DIDN'T see! so says my father, anyway...

Line of the day (if not the week):

Someone on Outsports asked, if MJ really is a pedophile, do you think he'll do it again? To which someone replied

"Only if Cardinal Law reassigns him."
