What coould easily be a disastrous year is redeemed by forgotten McCartney (the pretty, clever, and pretty clever "This One") and Katrinish TFF ("Seeds").  Kick out the Style, bring back the Jam?  Why not have both?

MAJOR breakout to close: Til Tuesday, "The Other End of the Telescope."  Aimee Mann is quite possibly the most underrated songwriter of her generation.
